Alexander & Associates was honored to work with Alexander & Baldwin on a recent project for their downtown Honolulu headquarters. Alexander & Baldwin in one of the oldest and largest companies in Hawaii and operate businesses in shipping, sugar cane, real estate and agriculture. The Alexander & Baldwin building was principally designed by architect Hart Wood, in partnership with C. W. Dickey and built in 1929. It is on the national register and one of the last remaining examples of the architectural designs of a middle period in Honolulu’s business history. Alexander & Associates selected, designed and installed a giclee triptych by Lahaina Printsellers for the Alexander & Baldwin corporate office lobby that reflected the art and style of old Hawaii and matched the look and feel of this treasured historical building.
