The UH School of Travel Industry Management (TIM) is recognized as a leading educational institution focusing on hospitality, tourism, and transportation management. Located in George Hall on the University of Hawaii Manoa campus, TIM pioneered the concept of integrating all aspects of the travel industry under a single discipline and provides high-quality education at the undergraduate and graduate levels to current and future professionals.
Alexander & Associates worked with UH and TIM staff and management to develop architectural signage for the school. We selected bold Hawaii icons to identify different floors and areas within the school. These were strategically placed to guide, students, faculty, staff and guests throughout the building. They also were designed to ad a look and feel of travel industry resorts.
